Games App currently useless

When the app launches the logo displays and then the screen goes white and I get a little pop-up message that says welcome back with my name and then the screen remains white and never changes. I have seen no updates for this app. Im using an iPad to with 9.3.5 OS software . It has worked in the past. Specs indicate it should work with my iPad 2. Until resolved app is useless.
